TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203!

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuroscience / Stepdown – Tennessee

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend shifts required; experienced nurses may float to other units after orientation. Patient ratios of 6:1 on acute care and 4:1 on neuro stepdown.

Highlights:

• 30-bed combined unit: 22 acute care beds and 8 neuro stepdown beds
• Comprehensive stroke care and neuroscience patient population
• Neuro stepdown experience includes Vapotherm, BiPAP, trachs, and titrating cardiac drips
• Acute care side manages vital signs, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, and various drips
• Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Common procedures include lumbar puncture and chest tube placement
• Excellent unit for RNs preparing to transition to ICU-level care

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Tennessee (or multistate compact)
• BLS certification required for acute care positions
• BLS and ACLS certifications required for neuro stepdown positions
• Strong nursing skills and time management essential for acute care
• Stepdown experience preferred for neuro stepdown positions
• Advanced critical thinking skills required
