Performs independent appraisals as neededAdvises the Right-of-Way management team on valuation issuesQualificationsKnowledge:Knowledge of subject matter related to farm loan and land management procedure and administration, including an in-depth knowledge of applicable rules and regulations and State statutesKnowledge of mapping and spatial technologiesKnowledge related to appraisals, deed documents, title work, credit analysis, foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings, loan servicing and lending protocolKnowledge of Eminent Domain Law, Water Right Law, Real Estate Law, agricultural and business practices, reading engineering plans, mapping, zoning regulations, building codes, subdivision laws and regulationsKnowledge of method, techniques, principles and practices of real estate and property and mineral products appraisalMinimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's DegreeExperience: 1-2 years of progressive work experience in (typically in Appraisal) with acquired knowledge at the level of an (Appraiser Supervisor)Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified General Appraiser license requiredOREducation & Experience Substitution: 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Appraisal) with acquired knowledge at the level of an (Appraiser Supervisor)Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Certified General Appraiser license requiredNecessary Special RequirementsNotes: FLSA: Non-Exempt The Wyoming Department of Transportation is a Drug-Free Workplace.
