We will provide the tools to succeed in a fast-paced work force, with incentives and further job opportunities.Gossett Motor Cars is seeking an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our team and manager one of our largest parts department.A Parts Manager oversees the parts department operation and works with the service departments and retail parts operation. Duties performed by parts managers include monitoring purchasing trends, managing inventory and reordering parts as needed; at all times, they must ensure that inventory is sufficiently stocked to meet customer needs. They oversee staff to insures that customers are handled in a timely and professional manner.ResponsibilitiesAssists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient mannerInforms customers of companion part requirements and specials, and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product lineAnswers phone calls, providing price quotes and other informationReviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimateOversees pulling and filling orders from stockLocates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessaryNotifies all necessary parties when special ordered parts have been receivedFollows up on back-ordered parts and replenishes assigned inventory dailyVerifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or requiredMakes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orderQualificationsMust have excellent communication and customer service skillsMust be able to maintain a professional image and demeanorMust be organized and detail-orientedAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentGossett Motor Cars Benefits:Team oriented environmentAdvancement opportunitiesPaid vacation401(k) with company matchMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife and Disability CoverageEmployee car purchase programWellness program
